  • Resize shapes and text boxes independently with side and corner handles. Hold Shift at a corner to keep proportions; use the separate rotation handle to rotate without scaling. Text keeps its font size.
  • Label text stays visible while typing, using the label’s fill behind the editor and appearing above overlapping tool panels.
  • Settings Storage used now estimates inserted images, editable snips, recordings, Canvas, preferences and retained unused data. Shared assets count once; caches, logs and exported backups are excluded.
  • Browser Library reopens compatible version-3 databases from intermediate builds without resetting records. Loading failures show errors and allow retries while retaining previously loaded cards.
  • Text/OCR, Crop, Layers and annotation settings stay where placed while open, including during drawing, zooming, tool changes, rail toggles and resizing. Close and reopen to bring an off-screen panel back into view.

  • New desktop-app and desktop-browser profiles default to Pinned Annotate. Existing presentation choices are preserved; legacy profiles without a choice retain Floating.
  • Removed desktop Docked panel selection. Older Docked values use Floating while retaining tool preferences and saved Floating positions; companion presentation is unchanged.
